Over the last week, 115,000 people crossed the Russian-Georgian border in both directions through the "Upper Lars" customs checkpoint.

The Georgian bureau of APA reports with reference to the local press that North Ossetian government official Irbek Tomayev said this.

According to him, this indicator is 23.3% more than the previous week.


Tomayev added that 37,500 vehicles moved in both directions in the last week.

According to him, currently 3,500 cars and 1,300 trucks are waiting in line at the Russian-Georgian border.
