A Hyundai Getz, driven by a 44-year-old resident of Kyiv, and an Opel Zafira, driven by a 42-year-old resident of Lutsk, collided near the intersection.

This was reported by the press service of the Ternopil police.

The woman drove to the right side of the road, the car skidded and was thrown into the oncoming traffic lane.

Already there, the Hyundai crashed into an Opel, in which, in addition to the driver, there were three passengers.

They were injured and were

taken to the Kremenets hospital.

Investigators have started criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Art.

286 of the Criminal Code (traffic safety violation that caused death).

Earlier it became known that in the Vinnytsia region three people died as a result of an accident involving two motorcycles and a car.
