According to the information of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the FSB of the Russian Federation has confirmed the deployment of an armored personnel carrier to the Verkhniy Lars border point on the border with Georgia in case people standing in line decide to cross the border.

"The number of customs officials has been increased at border checkpoints throughout Georgia, all points work 24 hours a day. The customs control procedures of trucks coming from Georgia are partially delayed," the Ministry of Finance of Georgia said.
