The German was a Russian "observer" at the Russian fake referendums in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Der Spiegel writes about it.

Stefan Schaller was a so-called "observer" at the fake referendum in the Zaporizhzhia region.

It was used by the Russians to give their actions at least a little legitimacy.

The German told Russian propagandists that "everything was very well organized at the referendum."

In Germany, the man was immediately fired from his job after that.

"This was a reaction to his work as an "observer" at illegal Russian fictitious "referendums" in Ukraine," the message reads.

We will remind you that the United States of America does not recognize the illegal referendums organized by Russia on Ukrainian occupied territories.
