The main goal that Russia wants to achieve now with the help of the mobilized is not to lose the newly captured territories.

This opinion

was expressed by the well-known Russian lawyer and blogger Mark Feigin in a comment on

TSN.ua , commenting on the progress and prospects of mobilization in Russia.

"Everything is different in different age and geographical groups. The main mass still obediently goes to the military. It is surprising that the majority does so. Not everyone realizes that this is not a joke. The majority or a part will have to die, but they do not believe in his death. This is an innate "cocktail" of fear and alcoholism," says Mark Fagin.

To this he adds: "Some part is rebelling, voting, as they say, with their feet, leaving. Such people are not so few. It is reported about 260 thousand. It is an exact number or not, but I would say that it looks close to the real one. We we see protests in Dagestan and other places. From the way everything is done quickly, it can be concluded that they (the Russian authorities - Ed.) are plugging the holes at the front. The mobilization is not done in order to bring them (recruits - Ed.) to the onset of winter, and it is coming. It turns out that they (the Russian authorities - Ed.) cannot wait. It means that they (the authorities - Ed.) know about something like this, or something like this is happening... Maybe they know about the plans of the command The Armed Forces of Ukraine to advance on Kherson, on the left bank of the Oskol. The intelligence is working, so they are forcing the situation."

The quality is zero

According to Mark Feigin, if Russia mobilizes even about a million people, then several tens of thousands of them will be able to fight.

"But you and I see the quality of the mobilized. It is not just below average, it is at zero. We can conclude that, it seems, the goal is not so much to attack Kyiv, but, first of all, to gain a foothold and prevent the loss of new territories. If they want to call up a million men, then, according to my estimates, there will be 50,000 - 60,000 combat-ready at the most. There can be no more. This category, which has previously passed through hot spots, understands what can happen to them and they have the least enthusiasm."

But to the question of whether resistance to mobilization is possible in Russia, Feygin answered as follows: "I think that such cases can occur. Soldiers are on fire? Protest, desire to damage - such a thing exists. There will definitely be arson."

A large-scale trap through the passport

In turn, as TSN.ua learned, many Ukrainian workers - natives of the occupied territories, who are now in Russia, believe that they have fallen into a real trap.

"A year ago, I received a DNR "passport" and a Russian passport in order to go to Russia to earn money without any obstacles. If I return home to Donetsk now, I won't even get to my house, because I am being mobilized to the "DNR "If I stay in Russia, I will also be mobilized here as a Russian citizen. The only way out I see is to go with a Ukrainian passport, for example, to Georgia," said one of the residents of occupied Donetsk, who is currently working on a construction site in Russia.
