Uttarakhand Murder Case: The primary post-mortem report has arrived in the case of the murder of a young woman in the Vantara resort of Yamkeshwar block of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

In this report many marks of injuries have been found on the girl's body.

However, according to the preliminary post-mortem report, the girl died due to drowning in the water.

On Saturday, a panel of four AIIMS doctors conducted the post-mortem of the girl's body.

The body of the girl who suddenly went missing was recovered from the Chila canal on Saturday.

SIT is investigating the matter.

  • The death of a 19-year-old girl who worked as a receptionist at a resort in Uttarakhand has sparked outrage across the country.

    After the arrest of accused Pulkit Arya in this case, BJP has also taken action against his father BJP leader Vinod Arya.

    Earlier a missing case was registered but during the investigation it turned into a murder case on Friday.  

  • This incident is now being protested all over Uttarakhand.

    The girl, who worked as a receptionist at a resort at Yamkeshwar in Uttarakhand's Pauri district, was reported missing a few days ago.

    The police have arrested Pulkit Arya, son of expelled BJP leader Vinod Arya and two of his employees in connection with the death of the girl. 

  • Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the murder case.

    The girl's body was recovered from the Chila canal on Saturday.

    The accused had allegedly thrown her there.

    The accused arrested in the case, Pulkit Arya, resort manager Saurabh Bhaskar and assistant manager Ankit Gupta had confessed to killing the girl and throwing her body in the canal.

    The three accused in the murder were sent to 14-day judicial custody by the court on Friday.

  • Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar said that Pulkit along with his companions took the girl and pushed her and threw her into the canal.

    The accused are visible in the CCTV footage.

    The accused have confessed to the crime.

    In investigation, interrogation and chat, it has become clear that the girl was being pressured for wrongdoing, for which she was refusing.

    We have arrested all the three accused. 

  • DGP Ashok Kumar said that the allegation of negligence on the police is wrong.

    First the complaint went to the patwari.

    We took immediate action as soon as it came to us.

    He said that we are investigating in the matter of the disappearance of another girl in Vantara Resort, although we have not received any complaint in that case.

    He said that he will present the charge sheet against the accused as soon as possible.

    SIT is investigating the matter.

  • Before the death of the girl, he had sent messages to his friends which have now come to the fore.

    In one of these messages, the girl is telling a friend that the accused Pulkit Arya is bent on making her a prostitute.

    The screenshot of these messages of the victim is now going viral. 

  • The girl is telling in her message how she is being forced to provide special service to the clients and is also talking about giving her 10 thousand rupees for this service.

    After these messages went viral, the police also investigated them.

    According to the police officials, in the initial investigation, all these messages seem to be from the dead girl only.

    Forensic investigation is being done to confirm this. 

  • Earlier, a Facebook friend of the girl had said that she was killed because she refused to have physical relations with the guests visiting the resort despite Pulkit Arya's advice.

    The girl's phone had become unreachable since the night she gave this information to her friend by phone. 

  • Even after the constant efforts of friends, when the girl's phone did not ring, she called Pulkit Arya.

    Then Pulkit Arya said that she has gone to her room to sleep.

    The next day when the girl's friends called Pulkit once again, his phone was found switched off.

    After this, the girl's friends called the manager of the resort, Ankit.

    He told that the girl is still in the gym.

    After this the girl's friends talked to the chef of the resort.

    She told that she has not been seen in the resort since yesterday. 

  • Pulkit Arya, the main accused in the case, is the owner of the resort where the girl used to work.

    Pulkit is the son of Haridwar BJP leader Vinod Arya.

    Vinod Arya has been the President of Uttarakhand Mati Kala Board.

    The resort, which was illegally constructed by the son of a BJP leader in Yamkeshwar block of Pauri district, was demolished on Friday night.
