In the case of murder of receptionist working in the resort of son of expelled BJP leader in Uttarakhand, SIT said on Sunday that WhatsApp chat of the girl is also being probed.

According to reports, a WhatsApp chat has come to the fore in the investigation.

According to police sources, in this chat, the girl is telling her friend that the owner of the resort is pressurizing her to provide 'extra service' to the guests.

SIT in-charge, DIG PR Devi told news agency ANI that the WhatsApp chat that has surfaced is also being investigated.

According to a viral chat, it is being alleged that Rs 10,000 will be given to the guest for providing 'extra service'.

In the WhatsApp chat, there is talk of providing 'extra service' in the name of providing spa treatment at Vantara Resort.

An employee of the resort also alleged that the woman had called him crying on September 17 and asked him to bring his bag out of the resort.

He also confirmed that he saw the girl along with three others at around 3 pm.

After that he saw that except the girl, the rest of the people had returned to the resort. 

He also confirmed that Ankit Arya, brother of resort owner Pulkit Arya, came at 8 am on September 18 and told him to cook dinner for four people and that he would eat in the girl's room.

The resort employee alleged that Ankit wanted to mislead the staff when the girl did not return.
