Dehradun:

Uttarakhand Murder Case: In the case of the murder of a 19-year-old girl, who worked as a receptionist at a resort in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, the state's Director General of Police Ashok Kumar (DGP Ashok Kumar) has said that in the case soon. Chargesheet will be presented soon.

On the matter of the disappearance of another girl even eight months ago from the Vantara resort of accused Pulkit Arya, Ashok Kumar said that, there is no complaint about it, have heard from people only.

The SIT which we have constituted under the chairmanship of DIG will be engaged on this work.

There is an appeal to the people that if there is any kind of evidence against the accused, then please provide us.

By doing this you will help us in justice.

Ashok Kumar told in the case of the murder of the girl that, the girl had come to the resort to work only a month ago.

The owner of the resort Pulkit Arya and two of his accomplices have been found involved in this.

All three had gone out with the girl and in return there was some dispute between them.

After that he pushed the girl into the river.

He said that, we have got a chat in which the girl is talking to her friend.

It becomes clear from him that Pulkit and Ankit had put pressure on the girl.

Wrong kind of pressure, and the girl was not accepting that pressure.

Maybe the dispute is related to that.

The DGP said that in the CCTV footage, the four people are seen returning.

All four of them are sitting on a motorcycle and a scooty.

This means that after the time the footage is from, they pushed the girl into the canal.

The footage is of the same location, on the banks of the canal.

The body was found from there.

Yesterday we sent the accused to jail.

The body was found from the place where the accused had told that they had pushed the girl.

This is our great evidence.

On the question related to the allegations against the police, Ashok Kumar said, the police has not delayed any action.

Initially, there was a slight delay due to the matter going to the Patwari police, so the Patwari was also suspended.

As soon as the matter came to the notice of the police, immediate action was taken.

There was an investigation and within 24 hours an arrest was also made.

On the question about the reason for the murder, the DGP said that the accused are just telling the reason for killing.

They are saying that there was a fight and they pushed.

But it is clear from the chat that there was some issue or the other.

He said that SIT has been constituted and will complete the investigation as soon as possible.

Will gather as much evidence as possible.

We will try to get them the harshest punishment as soon as possible through the fast track court.
