The war in Ukraine will end when

Russian troops

leave our territory.

Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military expert, explained in an interview with

TSN.ua

whether the exchange of prisoners can be considered a marker of the end of hostilities.

"The exchange of prisoners has happened before. This is not a marker. The end of the war will be after the complete liberation of the Ukrainian territories. We, of course, understand that in Russia they can call it their own way: a temporary ceasefire or a gesture of goodwill. It is only after that that we can to say that the war has come to an end. Ukraine needs to keep the Russian Federation under tension so that it cannot restore its human and technical resources. And so that this mobilization does not have time to prepare soldiers to be sent to Ukraine," he said.

It will be recalled that the

expert explained why Russia agreed to the exchange of "Azovs".
