Jaipur:

More than 90 MLAs loyal to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot have refused to accept Sachin Pilot as the chief minister in Rajasthan and raised the issue of his rebellion in 2020.

In a meeting held at MLA Shanti Dhariwal's house this evening, he passed a resolution saying that the chief minister should be chosen from among those who supported the government at that time.

Speaking to NDTV, Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas in the Gehlot government said that all the MLAs said that the Congress conspiracy in Rajasthan should not be successful.

Those people who were toppling the Congress government till yesterday will not be accepted.

Without naming Sachin Pilot, he said that only those who are loyal to the party should be considered for the chief minister's post.

Earlier, MLA Khachariyawas told the media that all of us MLAs will resign from our post after meeting the Speaker.

He further said that the party does not listen to us, decisions are taken automatically.

If needed, we will also go to Delhi.

The high command is our chief.

If Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Ashok Gehlot give a call, we will die.

Right now we have around 125 MLAs, we also have independent MLAs with us.

The MLAs had already decided that they would not go to the legislature party meeting.

The MLAs feel that the decision is being taken without asking them.

Earlier, before the meeting of the legislature party in Rajasthan, about 56 MLA Shanti Dhariwal had reached the house of Ashok Gehlot camp.

Dhariwal is said to be close to Ashok Gehlot.
