Putin is signaling that he has no plans to end the war.

Zelensky said this in an interview with CBS News.

"The Russian government can officially announce that the 'referendum' is over and announce the results. This will

make it impossible to continue any diplomatic negotiations

with the president of the Russian Federation, and he knows it very well. I have spoken about this publicly," the Ukrainian president said.

"I think this is a very dangerous signal from President Putin, which tells us that Putin is not going to end this war," the head of state added.

He also said that the Russian invaders are forcing the residents of the temporarily occupied territories to come to the Russian "referendums".

Those who decide not to come to the "voting" "can turn off the electricity and not give them the opportunity to live a normal human life."

Zelensky noted that mobilization has been announced in Russia, and people from the captured territories of Ukraine

will be forced by the occupiers to fight on the side of the Russian Federation.

We will remind, according to the Russian media, on September 30, Russia plans to announce the "joining" of the occupied territories of Ukraine.
