[Reporter Yang Chengyu/Taipei Report] The general debate of the United Nations General Assembly continued, and my country's friendly and friendly countries continued to speak on the stage.

In the general debate on the 23rd Eastern Time, Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre of my friend St. Lucia called for Taiwan to participate meaningfully in all organs and agencies of the United Nations, and to ensure the right of Taiwanese people to self-determination.

The general debate of the 77th United Nations General Assembly will be held from the 20th to the 24th and 26th of this month, and the physical meeting will be resumed this year.

On the first day of the meeting, four friendly countries, namely Paraguay, Honduras, the Marshall Islands and Guatemala, gave speeches in sequence. Except for Honduras, the other three friendly countries all spoke out for Taiwan's meaningful participation in the United Nations system.

US President Biden and EU Council President Charles Michel also spoke in support of peace in the Taiwan Strait.
