Today, September 24, 1941, the heart of Kyiv - Khreshchatyk - was destroyed by explosives and fire.

It killed hundreds of peaceful Kyivans, tens of thousands were left homeless.

And also - the detonations so angered the Nazis, say historians, that it could hasten and intensify the tragedy of Babyny Yar, TSN reports.

"If the enemy goes to Ukraine, then bread will be burned in the fields and in the villages.

All the mills should also be burned.

Break the millstones.

If someone shows stubbornness, then the villages will be burned" - such a three-hundred-year-old manuscript, which was miraculously not burned, is made public by experts who are convinced that here the Russians themselves officially documented their barbaric method of waging war.

It is called the "scorched earth" tactic.

And if the document dates back to 1708, then burning bread and people's houses - Russian generals continued to carry out two hundred years later.

There is a similar order of Stalin in the archives.

It was September 1941.

The Wehrmacht defeated the Red Army near Kiev and entered the city, the second year of the Second World War continued.

The world already knew who the Nazis were, but did not fully guess about the Rashists... Because the world has never seen what happened next in Kiev occupied by the Germans.

On September 24, when the city has been under occupation for five days, a reception point is set up in the center of Kyiv on the corner of Proriznaya Street in the premises of the former "Children's World".

There, the Nazis order the inhabitants to surrender their weapons, gas masks and radios.

The building is the first to rise into the air.

Then, for five days, the entire Khreschatyk detonates and burns, the fire spreads to neighboring quarters.

Cult buildings and the entire historical center of Kyiv are buried under a pile of smoke and soot, but mostly residential buildings.

And therefore - many victims.

Historians do not know exactly how many Germans died, but only the bodies of Kyiv civilians pulled out from under the rubble were counted in the hundreds.

About 50,000 Ukrainians instantly became homeless.

At that time, it had been several weeks since the Soviet army was within a cannon shot of Kiev.

And there are over 600,000 Red Army prisoners.

The Germans have absolutely no reason to destroy what has become theirs.

So who destroyed Khreshchatyk?

Such sabotage looked so immoral that the Kremlin invented Stepan Bandera to blame.

"In recent years, there have been studies that claim that the Kyiv explosions were prepared and carried out by Ukrainian Nazis, supporters of Stepan Bandera," reads one of the Russian propaganda documentaries.

It seems that those "isledivania" appeared from the same cabinet, from where the following also appeared, that the Russians do not shoot at any civilian objects.

Volnovakha and Mariupol, Bucha and Kharkiv - bombed-out kindergartens and power plants, dams and schools, maternity homes and central squares of cities crowded with peaceful residents - all this is the main secret axiom of Russian tactics.

Even now, when the archives are declassified and the truth is obvious to researchers, Moscow's official position has changed little - "Kyiv was blown up by the Nazis."

Yes, the Nazis also blew up the buildings of the Ukrainian capital.

For example, the building of the Shevchenko University, they detonated buildings on Khreshchatyk - they say they could not clear mines and cope with fires.

Even before the retreat, the Soviet troops destroyed the water pumping station.

But the essence of the devastating two-week epic in September 1941 - with the code name "Fiery Tornado" - is that fascists and racists are the closest twins.

With a single coordinate system and attitude towards a person.

Already on September 29, when Khreshchatyk was dying, the Nazis staged the first executions in Babiny Yar.

Conveniently accusing Jews in particular of involvement in the bombings.

Instead of the Kremlin version about Stepan Bandera.

By the way, Bandera has already been arrested by the Gestapo for 2 weeks and is being sent to a concentration camp for declaring independent Ukraine.

Now it is known that back in the summer, Red Army sappers filled the city with an unrealistic amount of explosives.

And NKVD officers additionally "stuffed" the attics of houses with Molotov cocktails.

The "matchstick" that incinerated Khreshchatyk was activated hundreds of kilometers from Kyiv itself - it was a radio-controlled detonation, the logic of which neither historians nor military analysts can still find.

"Fiery Tornado" killed a maximum of the local population and minimally affected the occupying forces.

Instead, he accelerated and intensified the tragedy of Babi Yar.

For some reason, the official Kremlin did not admit its involvement in the burnt city even after 88 years.

However, continuing the "scorched earth" tactics, he openly dreams of destroying Kyiv one more time... just now.
