There will be 278 polling stations in Kyustendil region, of which 273 are permanent and 5 are mobile, regional governor Alexander Pandurski told journalists, BTA reporter.

Machine voting will be available in 170 polling stations.

Paper ballots will be used to vote in 103 polling stations.

"The ballots have also been prepared and printed, we expect them here on September 27. About 130,500 ballots will arrive for 129,300 voters who are entered in the lists. There are about 2,000 additional registered at the current address," said Pandurski.

He pointed out that the preparations for the elections are going normally, meetings have been held with the RIC, with the secretaries of the municipalities and departments involved in the election process.

"I think that in an appropriate atmosphere, an atmosphere of calmness and mutual respect, our fellow citizens can make their choice, so as to determine those who will rule the country," commented Pandurski.
