According to APA's Moscow correspondent, the Russian President has signed a draft law on changes to the Criminal Code.
Thus, in the draft law signed by Putin, military servicemen will be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison for desertion, voluntary surrender, and refusal to participate in military operations.
It should be noted that on September 20, the State Duma of Russia passed the second draft of the law, which includes the introduction of the concepts of "mobilization", "martial law", "time of war" and "armed conflict" into the Criminal Code, as well as tightening the responsibility for crimes related to these periods. and approved in the third reading.
