According to the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total combat losses of enemy personnel from February 24 to September 24 approximately amounted to about 56,300 people

Vladimir Putin's decree on the announcement of partial mobilization into the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation confirmed the existing personnel problems in its army.

Military expert Dmytro Snegiryov told

about this in a comment on

"In fact, Putin signed in his own powerlessness. The fact is that this decree was fully predicted against the background of the successful counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the military defeats of the occupying army. This is the recognition by the Russian authorities of their own powerlessness. This shows that the military losses of the Russian Federation have reached catastrophic proportions , and there are no operational-tactical reserves, and they are forced to attract the so-called PMCs from the number of persons who should be serving their sentences in places of deprivation of liberty," he said.

Also, according to the expert, the announcement of partial mobilization is a completely logical step on Putin's part - a

de facto recognition that the goals of his "special military operation" have suffered a devastating military and political defeat.

Dmytro Snegiryov also drew attention to an interesting fact in the changes made by the Russian legislators in terms of increasing the penalty for desertion.

That is, the Russian authorities have recognized the facts of mass desertion in their army.

"The provisions on the so-called "500" - persons who voluntarily left military locations and so on. With this, Russia at the legislative level recognized the facts of the mass desertion of its soldiers from the battlefield. And this is the result of the decline in morale of the Russian military. I note that before this At the time, the authorities of the Russian Federation were solving military personnel issues in the army at the expense of mainly representatives of the national minorities of Siberia, the Far East and the Caucasus and private military companies," the military expert noted.

It is noteworthy that, according to the experts of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), different mobilization processes in different regions can exacerbate social tension in Russia, which has already increased due to the perception of inequality in the creation of volunteer battalions.

In particular, the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the Chechen Republic will not carry out mobilization, as the republic has already exceeded the draft "plan" by 254%, the expert says.

"As for the increase in the number of personnel of the occupying forces, it should be emphasized that this war is a war of technologies. It is said that Ukraine has means of destruction, which, in terms of tactical and technical characteristics, are many times higher than those in the Russian Federation's arsenal. Accordingly, no matter how many personnel are involved by the occupying country for military operations in Ukraine, at the distance of the formation of tactical reserves, their locations will be destroyed by Ukrainian means of fire damage. That is, we will take them out together with the barracks at a distance of tens of kilometers." , - noted Dmytro Snegiryov.

The expert also noted that, at the same time, Putin's decree gives Ukraine another additional and valid reason to appeal to Western countries to speed up the military-technical rearmament of the Armed Forces.

We will remind,

the expert told what the mobilization in Kherson Oblast and Zaporizhzhia could turn out to be for the occupiers.
