That is why it is almost impossible to end the war that Russian President

Vladimir Putin

started on February 24 by the end of this year.

This opinion was expressed by Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, in an interview with Report.

"Unfortunately, we have to liberate our territories at the cost of the lives of our people. This is not a short-term process. Of course, we would like to say that the territories of Ukraine will be liberated by winter, by the New Year. I can only say: "God willing!" - says Podolyak.

According to him, the Kremlin will not spare the people it will "spend" on the war in Ukraine.

"We would like to close this topic, and not only the referendum, but also in general the issue of occupation by the Russian Federation and the complete liberation of our territories. But the reality is more cruel, and this is life. It must be understood that I want to especially note that Russia has large reserves of living forces, and mobilization has now been announced," Podolyak stressed.

He notes that after the fiasco in the Kharkiv direction, the Russian elite began to understand that they could lose the war.

At most, the world is convinced of the weakness of the "second army of the world" and the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.

"Today, Russia does not have talented commanders, strategists and tactical commanders. I would say that Russia was not fully prepared for this war," Podolyak added.

We will remind you that ex-deputy of the State Duma of Russia Ilya Ponomaryov believes that

large-scale protests will soon begin in the Russian Federation
