The organization should consider the illegal "referendums" in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which Russia wants to join.

This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko.

"Ukraine demands an urgent convening of the UN Security Council regarding Russia's fictitious referendums on the occupied territories of Ukraine. Russia must bear responsibility for further attempts to change the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine in violation of the UN Charter," Nikolenko wrote.
