Due to the sharp increase in the number of people who want to leave Russia, the movement of passenger cars in the direction of Georgia has been restricted in Vladikavkaz.

The Georgian bureau of APA reports that the Russian-language service of "Azadlig" radio broadcasted the information.

It was reported that on September 23, from 03:30, traffic was restricted on Moskovskiy and Kosta avenues in Vladikavkaz, and only cars with local registration plates were allowed to go to the customs checkpoint with Georgia.

According to information, for this reason, people come to the border of Georgia on foot, scooters, bicycles, and in some cases, paying local residents to take them to the border.

North Ossetian officials did not comment on the situation.
