, a pedophile followed an 11-year-old girl, jumped into the elevator after her and committed lewd acts.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

"Under the procedural guidance of the juvenile prosecutors of the Obolon district prosecutor's office in Kyiv, a 31-year-old native of Donetsk was notified of suspicion of having committed lewd acts against an underage girl (Part 2 of Article 156 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the message reads.

The investigation established that the suspect, while in the Obolon district of Kyiv, noticed an 11-year-old girl walking home on the street.

After following the girl, the intruder went with her to the entrance of the house, where he committed lewd acts in the elevator cabin, after which he fled.

Thanks to the concerted actions of the law enforcement officers, it was possible to promptly find and detain the perpetrator in accordance with Art.

208 of the CPC of Ukraine.

Currently, the pedophile has been informed of the suspicion and the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being resolved.
