In the Russia-Ukraine war, the priority for Turkey was the issue of the "grain corridor" and the exchange of prisoners.

APA's Istanbul correspondent reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this in a statement to journalists after the Friday prayer.

He noted that more than 4 million tons of grain have already been transported through the corridor.

"Of course, one of our important steps now is grain coming from Russia.

The most important is the issue of fertilizer transfer.

As soon as we start this, we will send them to poor countries," said the Turkish leader.

Erdogan added that 200 names were decided in the exchange of prisoners: "We have these 200 people.

These are our guests, Putin was particular about the name of one of them (Viktor Medvedchuk).

We have already sent him to Russia."
