Order issued for closure of schools from class 1 to 8 in Noida-Greater Noida.

Due to rain in Delhi and NCR, people are facing a lot of trouble.

A part of a road collapsed on Thursday amid continued rain in the capital for two days.

While trees were uprooted in many places and traffic came to a standstill due to waterlogging.

Important information related to the case:

  • The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a 'Yellow Alert' and issued a warning regarding heavy rain at some places.

    At the same time, due to

    the 

    rain , the fares of cabs and autorickshaws also increased a lot.

  • The Delhi Municipal Corporation received complaints of waterlogging in Fatehpur Beri, Sangam Vihar and Tikri villages due to rain, while seven complaints of uprooting of trees were received.

  • The Delhi Traffic Police helpline received 23 calls related to traffic jams, seven related to waterlogging and two calls regarding uprooting of trees. 

  • The drivers coming to Delhi had to face a lot of trouble.

    Due to stagnation of water at many places, many vehicles were also stopped, which were later pulled out with the help of traffic police.

  • After heavy rains in Gurugram, Haryana, many parts were flooded due to which roads were blocked.

    Police personnel were seen trying to clear the jam.

    In Gurugram, the administration has advised all private companies to implement work from home on Friday.

  • The Gurugram administration has also issued a helpline number for the general public.

    These numbers have been issued to deal with the situation like water logging. 

  • According to the district administration, 54 mm of rain has been recorded in Gurugram on Thursday while Wazirabad has received 60 mm of rainfall.

    Till 5 pm, Manesar recorded 50 mm, Sohna 43 mm, Harsar 54 mm, Badshahpur 30 mm, Pataudi 20 mm and Farrukhnagar 29 mm.

  • In many areas of Noida too, there was a long jam due to rain.

    The DM of Noida-Greater Noida has issued an order to close the schools from class 1 to class VIII.

  • School closure order has also been issued in Ghaziabad and due to rain, schools will be closed in Gurugram as well.

  • Rain is proving to be a disaster in Faridabad too.

    People are facing lot of trouble.
