Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke for the first time about the threat of the collapse of the Russian Federation.

Oleksandr Musienko, the head of the Center for Military and Legal Research, said this on the YouTube channel of TSN.

"Putin himself may feel that something is happening. Pay attention, this did not happen before... He

spoke twice in one week about the threat of the disintegration of Russia

. The first time Putin did it at the SCO summit in Samarkand, where he spoke. The second time he said during announcing his speech about general mobilization - that they seek the disintegration of Russia and so on," Musienko noted.

The expert also reminded that last week

in the State Duma of Russia "an interesting project of the law appeared, which forbids showing the map of the Russian Federation with the symbols of certain regions"

.

"If he began to talk about it more often, it means he feels some cautions,

some phobias appear in him from this

. It means that there are some processes inside - deep, but they continue," he emphasized.

It will be recalled that the retired American general, former commander of the US forces in Europe, Ben Godges, called on the EU to prepare for the probable fall of Vladimir Putin's regime and the collapse of Russia in general.

According to him, there are

at least three factors that can trigger the process of Russia's disintegration

.

The first is the undermining of faith in the strength of the Russian army, which has traditionally been one of the "foundations of the Kremlin's legitimacy", to which is added the disproportion of the burden of the war against Ukraine for ethnic Russians and all other peoples of the Russian Federation.

The second factor is the damage to the Russian economy due to the invasion.

The third factor is the specificity of the population of Russia, which consists of many ethnic groups and is spread over a huge territory.
