[Reporter He Yuhua/Taipei Report] The new concept competition for the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall initiated by the private sector will start in July. It is expected that on October 4th, Taipei mayoral candidates will be invited to express their views on the transformation of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Chen Shizhong, a candidate for the Taipei mayoral candidate of the DPP, said , I have not yet received an invitation letter. If a certain consensus can be reached from the bottom up, and then a decision can be made from the top down, it is a better method.

The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Park New Vision Concept Competition Implementation Team, which was formed spontaneously by the people, has held several "100 Ways to Imagine Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall" since July. Chen Shizhong was interviewed about this event before going to Bailan Market to sweep the streets. He said that the issue of Chiang Kai-shek's commemoration will eventually be faced, but he has not yet received an invitation; he emphasized that this issue should be addressed from the bottom up. During the discussion, if it is easy to cause social confrontation from the top down at the beginning, it is not a good method.

It is a better way to first reach a certain consensus from the bottom up, and then make a decision from the top down.
