[Reporter Chen Xinyu/Taipei Report] My border is about to be loosened to "0+7", but my national airline crew members still need to use a "one-time room card" when they stay overnight outside the airport outside the country, that is, they cannot leave after checking in. The hotel has been in isolation and quarantine for a long time.

The Taoyuan City Pilots Professional Union pointed out that the relevant epidemic prevention measures and controls for national airline crews to stay overnight outside the station should be fully relaxed.

The trade union calls on the command center and the Civil Aviation Administration and other competent authorities to immediately relax the relevant anti-epidemic measures and controls on the overnight stay of national airline crew members outside the station, and quickly establish corresponding supporting measures.

There is no reason for the crew of the national airline to continue to be "detained" at the outstation and deprived of their basic human rights when the Taiwan border is almost completely unblocked.

The Taoyuan City Pilots Professional Union stated that the shortest period of stay for Air China crew members is one day at the outer station, and the most often three to four days are trapped in the room and cannot walk out of the room.

These pilots who are responsible for carrying passengers and importing and exporting goods, together with the quarantine after returning to Taiwan, have accumulated up to 200 days of residential inspection in 365 days a year.

The Taoyuan City Pilots' Professional Union stated that, through inquiries with relevant international pilots' unions, more than 99% of the countries have already lifted all controls on the quarantine measures for crew members.

The trade union pointed out that the questionnaire survey started on August 8 has so far collected nearly 500 front cabin crew members to fill in the answers. Among those who have been diagnosed, the domestic confirmed cases account for nearly 3/4, while the overseas confirmed cases are only about 1/9. , it is obvious that a very high proportion of cabin crew members are from China rather than abroad before the diagnosis.
