After the start of the war in Ukraine, more than 32 thousand Ukrainians came to Georgia.

The local office of APA reports that Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili said this during his speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly held in New York.

He said that currently about 1,500 Ukrainians continue their education in Georgian schools and universities.

Garibashvili emphasized that after the start of the war, Georgia sent 1000 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
