After Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "partial mobilization" at the Verkhnii Lars checkpoint, located on the border of Russia and Georgia, huge traffic jams formed.

The video of the transport collapse was published by the "Echo of the Caucasus" publication.

The published footage shows that passenger cars with Russian license plates predominate among the vehicles.

Those who want to cross the border and run away from military checkpoints ignore traffic rules and drive into the oncoming lane just to do it as quickly as possible.

Accordingly, traffic jams formed on both sides of the border.

The "Upper Lars" checkpoint is the only land crossing that allows you to get to Georgia legally, the rest of the ways are either illegal or involve a rather large hook through Azerbaijan.

We will remind, after the announced mobilization in Russia, they began to buy tickets to other countries en masse.

Georgia, Turkey and Armenia are in the greatest demand.
