Rain became a disaster in Gurugram

New Delhi:

Due to the rain in Delhi NCR for the last few days, the situation in Gurugram has become very bad.

Water has been flooded in many areas, so most of the roads of the city have been submerged.

The effect of water logging due to rain is also visible on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway.

Several kilometers long jam was seen on this expressway on Thursday.

Due to the jam, the drivers coming from Delhi to Gurugram and Gurugram to Delhi had to face a lot of trouble.

Due to stagnation of water at many places, many vehicles were also stopped, which were later pulled out with the help of traffic police.

Due to the rains, water has also entered some residential areas of Gurugram.

This is not the first incident of water logging on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway and adjoining areas of Gurugram due to rain.

In May this year, due to heavy rains in Delhi and NCR, roads were submerged and there was a long jam.

Gurugram's Bakhtawar Chowk, MDI Chowk, the area near DLF Phase 1 Metro, Kanhai Chowk, Agrasain Chowk and many other areas were waterlogged.

In view of the warning of heavy rains on 23 May, the district officer of Gurugram had advised people to work from home.

In the advisory, the district officer had asked private institutions/corporate offices to order their employees to work from home.

In order to avoid traffic jams on the roads.

Doing this will also help the civic agencies in carrying out the repair works faster.

This is not the case only in Gurugram due to rain.

A few days ago, after heavy rains in Bengaluru too, there was a flood-like situation in the city.

Many areas were submerged in water and people were rescued from many places.

In view of water logging in many areas of the city, offices and schools were closed.
