The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the petitioners in the Karnataka hijab ban controversy to conclude their arguments within an hour yesterday, saying he was losing his patience.

During the hearing of the matter on the ninth day, the top court said that it will give only one hour to the lawyers of the petitioners to conclude their arguments on Thursday.

A bench of Justices Hemant Gupta and Sudhanshu Dhulia told senior advocate Huzefa Ahmadi, appearing for one of the petitioners, "We will give one hour's time to all of you.

The bench said that many lawyers have already presented their arguments before it.
