The reaction of the press secretary of Vladimir Putin was in response to the publication of a video recording of a telephone conversation, which caused controversy on the Internet and was related to Nikolai Peskov, AFP reported, quoted by BTA.

A Russian journalist ``mobilizes'' Dmitry Peskov's son.

Peskov Jr.: We will settle this on another level

In video footage of that phone call, a blogger calls Peskov's son and poses as a military man recruiting mobilized reservists for Russia's offensive in Ukraine following the publication of Russian President Vladimir Putin's decree.

"You have been sent a summons today," said blogger Dmitry Nizovtsev, who hosts the People's Politics YouTube channel, created in support of jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.

"On the call center there is a number to call and tomorrow at 10am you have to report to a reservist center," says the blogger in a firm tone to make the joke seem more authentic.

Thirty-two-year-old Nikolay Peskov briefly looked confused before declaring: "It's obvious that I'm not coming tomorrow at 10 a.m.," implying that he would not allow himself to be drafted into the army.

"You must understand, as soon as you know that I am Mr. Peskov, that it is not entirely right for me to be there. I will settle this issue on another level," says the young Peskov.

"I have no problem defending the motherland. But first I have to find out what can be done as far as I'm concerned," he adds.

This video immediately went viral on the Internet, and Dmitry Peskov was asked by journalists to explain his son's reaction.

He said he was aware of what happened, but added that the full version of that phone conversation with his son had not been released.
