Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Yadav will meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi in Delhi on Sunday evening.

Before that Nitish and Tejashwi Yadav will also participate in a rally organized by the Chautala family in Jind, Haryana.

When Nitish Kumar came to Delhi, he had expressed his desire to meet Sonia Gandhi.

Let us inform that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is trying to bring the opposition parties on one platform.

At the same time, leaders of many opposition parties including Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray will join together on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Devi Lal in Fatehabad, Haryana on 25 September.

However, the Congress has not been invited for this program. 

Earlier, when CM Nitish Kumar had come on a Delhi tour, he had talked about meeting Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

But Sonia Gandhi was not in Delhi at that time.

Due to this, CM Nitish could not meet Sonia Gandhi.

At the same time, CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad separately in Patna on Wednesday and discussed opposition unity.

Janata Dal (United) leader Kumar had met Yechury during his Delhi visit earlier this month.

Opposition parties have also started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024.

There is a discussion in the political circles that CM Nitish Kumar can be made the prime ministerial candidate.

At the same time, the ruling RJD of Bihar believes that Nitish Kumar is the most suitable leader for the post of Prime Minister.
