Then Mr. Anutin said that the situation of COVID-19

The trend is improving around the world, including Thailand, infected people, patients in treatment, critically ill patients and deaths.

There is a continuous decrease in number

Most of the people are immune from the Covid-19 temple injection.

They cover more than 82% and some are immune from infection.

But there are still elderly people 60 years and over and patients with 7 congenital diseases, a number of diseases that must be asked to receive complete vaccination.

Today, the meeting has approved 2 important matters. The first is the approval of the Covid-19 Control Action Plan.

Support for communicable diseases that need to be monitored (October 2022 - September 2023), which has signed a contract to abolish COVID-19

and adjusted to be a communicable disease that must be monitored No. 57 in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act B.E. 2558, which has been announced in the Government Gazette.

Effective from October 1, 2022 onwards with 4 strategies as follows:

and requiring all provinces to prepare such action plans to ensure readiness in all aspects

As for the second issue, the meeting approved the surveillance measures.

    People who do not show symptoms must strictly follow the DMHT for 5 days

    and advise people to have proper self-protective behaviors such as wearing masks, washing hands, and checking ATK when symptoms are present.


In addition, the meeting also acknowledged 4 other matters as follows:

1. Vaccination Management and Vaccination Plan for COVID-19

(Pfizer scarlet vaccine) in children aged 6 months - 4 years, is expected to start in mid-October 2022 on a voluntary basis for parents and children.

But it is recommended that all children be vaccinated.

Especially children with underlying medical conditions that are at risk of severe symptoms or death.

2. Guidelines for the use of Long Acting Antibody (LAAB) in Thailand with further improvements
