Members of the gang carried out

armed attacks

on the homes of Kharkiv residents and "knocked" money and other valuables out of them.

The attackers threatened people with weapons, used violence against them and threatened to kill them.

This was reported in the press service of the SBU.

The gang included persons previously convicted of serious and especially serious crimes, including intentional murder.

To hide criminal activity, its participants acted under the guise of law enforcement officers.

SBU officers detained five active members of the group: three after committing a robbery attack, two more when they tried to hide firearms.

Another person involved was declared wanted.

A large arsenal of weapons was seized from the perpetrators.

The detained and wanted persons were informed of the suspicion.

The court chose preventive measures for them in the form of detention, and for one of the perpetrators, who is a minor, house arrest.
