French President's statement to the UN

French President Emmanuel Macron told a session of the United Nations General Assembly that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had told Russian President Vladimir Putin that this was not the time for war and that he was absolutely right.

In Samarkand, Putin told Modi that he was "well aware of his position regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the concerns that Modi often talks about."
