The theme of this year's pandal in New Ashok Nagar will be environment friendly.

According to the organisers, the material used for the construction of the pandal and the idols of Maa Durga is eco-friendly.

Sculptor Manoj Pradhan said, "The idol is being made using clay. We are not using plaster of paris at all. Watercolor is being used to paint the idols as it is considered safest and environmentally friendly." Considered one of the favorable mediums."
