The Ministry of Defense of Lithuania 

decided to put the troops on high alert

on September 21.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Lithuania Arvidas Anusauskas on Twitter.

"Since Russia's military mobilization will also take place near our borders (Kaliningrad region), Lithuania's rapid response forces are put on high alert to prevent any provocations from Russia," he wrote.

Earlier, Latvia announced that it would

not issue any visas to Russians who avoid mobilization in the Russian Federation.

We will remind, on September 21, during the morning address to the people, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin,

 announced a partial mobilization 

throughout the country from today.

According to the statement of the Russian dictator, reserve military personnel with military specialties and combat experience will be mobilized.
