Citizens' revolt may break out in Russia due to people's dissatisfaction with the results of the war against Ukraine, as well as the impact of the actions of American and European sanctions.

Stanislav Zhelikhovskyi, a leading specialist of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine named after Hennadiy Udovenko at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told

about this exclusively  .

"I would like to point out here that there are many examples in history. Such defeats of Russia, when it went to all kinds of military campaigns with such bravado and lost them - they were catalysts for raising the people to a certain resistance and even this led to a change in the ruling regime. Analogies and I do not rule out that the defeats that are taking place on the territory of Ukraine and in the Kharkiv region and in the southern direction may lead to the fact that the Russians will ask themselves the question: "Why did we do all this, because we also lost the war and are under various sanctions" . And that's when questions will arise. Therefore, it is quite possible that a Russian rebellion will take place, as it happened before," the expert noted.

We will remind, on September 21,

Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia.
