This is stated in the traditional night address of the head of state.

This meeting took place on the sidelines of the regular UN General Assembly.

"The topic of food security is strategically important for our country.

This is where we have – and must maintain – a global role.

It is what gives us economic strength and strengthens our moral leadership.

The leadership of a people who help others even when they themselves are in extremely difficult circumstances."

According to him, Ukraine participates in the implementation of the UN Food Program and helps African countries.

Ukraine has resumed maritime agricultural exports, and this makes it possible to export Ukrainian agricultural products to countries on three continents.

"We are working on opening the markets of Latin America and other important parts of the world for our producers," Zelenskyy summarized.

It will be recalled that

on August 1, the first ship left the Odesa port through the "grain corridor".

Exports of Ukrainian food from the port of Odessa have not taken place since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia on February 24.

On July 22, an agreement was signed in Istanbul on the unblocking of Ukrainian ports

"Odesa", "Chornomorsk" and "Pivdenny" for the export of grain and other agricultural products.

And already in the morning of July 23, Russia launched a missile attack on the Odesa sea trade port.
