Vice President Iliana Yotova

Iliana Malinova Yotova is a Bulgarian politician, the 5th Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria, opened in Topolovgrad the 25th jubilee edition of the International Festival for Amateur Comedy Theatres, Pantomime and Satire "Velko Kanev", which is held under her patronage, the Press Secretariat of the Presidency reports .

In her welcome, Yotova thanked for the ambition and efforts to establish the festival as a significant cultural event of the municipality of Topolovgrad, People's Community Center "St.

St. Cyril and Methodius - 1894", of the Ministry of Culture, the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, the Union of Artists in Bulgaria, the Union of National Community Centers.

This year's edition of the festival, which lasts until September 25, includes participants from all over Bulgaria and our compatriots from Ukraine, Moldova, Italy, Serbia.

"Art is stronger than war and adversity.

When immersed in the magic of art, one lives with the characters and their destinies and forgets the difficulties.

Art gives the necessary ray of hope that we will overcome the crises", the vice-president emphasized in his greeting.

She thanked the participants for their talent, ambition and dedication and pointed out that a number of great actors took their first steps as amateurs.
