9,117 motor vehicles were checked as part of the ordered specialist police operation to comply with the Road Traffic Act.

12,351 drivers and passengers were checked.

2,405 slips and 752 acts were drawn up for established administrative violations, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.

Emphasis in the action is the prohibition of driving by drivers who have consumed alcohol, narcotic substances and/or their analogues, as well as driving of motor vehicles by unlicensed drivers.

Within the past day, a total of 26 drivers were found to have gotten behind the wheel after using alcohol - 14 of them drove after using alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per thousand, 12 - with more than 1.2 per 1000, and three refused to be tested.

16 people were caught driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues, and five people who were stopped for inspection refused to be tested. 

In just one day, they detained 18 drunk and 14 drugged drivers

From the summary data: 1,714 motor vehicles and 2,053 drivers and passengers were checked by the "linear control" method;

524 slips and 156 AUAN were drawn up for established violations.

Three drivers were found to have been driving after consuming alcohol above 1.2 per thousand.

Five people were found to be driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues.
