Large-scale construction works begin at the Graf Ignatievo Air Base.

The airport infrastructure will be modernized to accommodate the new F-16 fighter jets, the press center of the Ministry of Defense announced.

The combat and combat training aircraft of the air base - MiG-29 and L-39 ZA, will fly over Plovdiv tomorrow, September 21, and will be re-based at Plovdiv airport.

All safety requirements will be strictly observed during the scheduled flights.

We inform the citizens of Plovdiv of possible higher noise levels over the regional city in the interval between 10.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. during the day, related to the peculiarities of the air route for landing at the civil airport.
