Turkey's foreign policy has always been aimed at peace.
According to APA's Istanbul correspondent, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during his speech at the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).
Erdogan added that Turkey, as a country at the very center of conflicts, is not a part of the creation of problems, but a part of the solution.
Erdogan also touched on the ongoing conflict in Syria.
"Turkey's unresponsiveness against the PKK and its affiliates, which are attacking our country and threatening the territorial integrity of Syria, cannot be accepted.
We invite those involved in changing the names of terrorists to immediately disarm them and abandon their mistakes.
"We will never back down from doing what is necessary against terrorist organizations."
