After talking again about a possible general mobilization in Russia, military experts of Ukraine reminded of the expediency of the fact that most men are still prohibited from going abroad.

"Complete military expediency.

We are at war.

The protection of one's country is prescribed in the Constitution.

The enemy is conducting a huge mobilization.

The question is simple, logical and clear - where should we get people?

War is a despicable phenomenon.

We still have a false narrative in our society that some mythical professionals should fight.

It does not.

Defense of the country is the duty of every citizen.

Slavery is always worse than the struggle for freedom.

In 1917-1921, we lost our struggle for independence.

The result was the Holodomor, in which we lost 8 to 12 million Ukrainians," says military expert Petro Chernyk.

According to him, the expediency of the ban on leaving the country will remain as long as martial law is in effect in the country.

We will remind, among those categories of men who are allowed to go abroad, there are:

  • Sailors

  • Men removed from military registration on the basis of a decision of the VLK on unfitness for military service with exclusion from military registration

  • Men who have three or more dependent children under the age of 18.

Thus, the determining factor is not parenthood, but the maintenance of three or more children.

  • Men who independently raise a child (children) under the age of 18

  • Persons with disabilities (regardless of the group) have the right to cross the state border to leave Ukraine if they have documents confirming their disability

  • Volunteers

  • Separate categories of drivers
