After the talks with VMZ-Sopot, their biggest problem is the disturbed process for the supply of raw materials for the commissioned production and the fulfillment of existing contracts.

The competition has overtaken us and now the raw material must be purchased at inflated prices.

This was stated by the executive director of the State Consolidation Company (SCC) Ventsislav Dimitrov at a press briefing on the state of VMZ-Sopot.

The problem is the lack of raw material for the production of the final product, as the capacity of the enterprise is filled until the end of 2024. However, the briefing did not make it clear what type of raw material is involved.

Dimitrov explained that what is leading in the situation is not what is presented as information from the previous administration, but the situation that they received as confirmation from the unions and workers in VMZ-Sopot.

According to him, accusations were leveled at the DCK management, but it would be better if they were supported by evidence.

DCC have always strived to be objective in the presented information and concentrate on the presented facts and circumstances that they have, and not such statements that are not supported by documents, Dimitrov emphasized.

The next thing that is disturbing is that the previous executive director of VMZ-Sopot rents a house at the exorbitant price of BGN 4,500 in a location that does not coincide with the production activity of the enterprise.

In the lease agreement, it is not stated anywhere that the same is used by employees of the enterprise, but it is stated that the tenant is the commercial company VMZ with executive director Ivan Ivanov.

The former head of VMZ could say that 100 people gathered inside the house itself, but it was not motivated by documents and evidence.

The head of the DCC: The inaction of my predecessors baffles me

Next, let it be clear to all that all members of the board of directors have management and control contracts in place as to what rights, obligations and privileges they can exercise.

Use of such kind of houses is not included in their subject and rights of the parties, explained Dimitrov.

DCK has no data on the use of similar privileges by the previous boards of directors of VMZ-Sopot, and all of them traveled in their cars.

The assigned SMPs at the VMZ-Sopot sites were also disturbing.

In the selection procedure of the SMP, the contracting authority did not set technical requirements for a large part of the equipment, the tender procedure and there are no mechanisms on the part of the contracting authority to control the quality of execution.

The framework contracts formed in this way and the subsequent value of the concluded annexes change the amount in a global number that was paid in advance - instead of 50% being paid, 60% was paid.

There were discrepancies in the market levels of what was assigned - by more than 30%.

DCC collects documents with which they want to come out and hold a press conference on site at the VMZ-Sopot enterprise itself.

The head of the DCC: money is categorically siphoned off from "Kintex"

For his part, Ivan Zangochev, chairman of the Board of Directors of DCK, added that the former executive director of VMZ-Sopot had two drivers, but to what extent they were used - it is impossible to say.

The strangest thing is that there is a second employment contract concluded with the second driver, which is in violation of the Labor Code.

The work process at VMZ-Sopot includes production, warehousing and shipping of products.

The profit is realized after the production from the enterprise has been shipped.

On site, DCC will be able to say how the company's production program has been carried out, as the information they have is incomplete.

DCCs do not have a complete picture of all the months from the beginning of the year about who did what and who did what.

VMZ-Sopot earns between BGN 180-200 million annually from its production.
