Delhi Police has busted a sextortion racket.

In this case, accused Mustaqeem has been arrested from Rajasthan.

According to Dwarka DCP Harsh Vardhan, the case was registered on a complaint at Cyber ​​Police Station, Dwarka, in which the complainant had alleged that he had received a WhatsApp video call from an unknown number, which was obscene.

The complainant talked to the girl for some time and stopped the call.

After this, on August 1, 2022, the complainant again got a call from a person and he introduced himself as Arun Rawat, SHO of Pune. 

The man told that a girl has committed suicide and your mobile number has been found in her call log.

He told that the complainant is accused of abetment to suicide and the caller Arun Rawat asked the complainant to reach Pune.

Apart from this, the accused gave a mobile number to the victim and asked the complainant to contact SI Vikram Rathor.

On this the complainant contacted on the given number, which pressurized him to fulfill his demands. 

On this, the complainant sent Rs 18 lakh to the different bank accounts of the accused.

Apart from this, the victim got another call from each other's mobile number, who identified himself as a CBI officer and asked him to go to Mumbai.

The complainant again contacted Vikram Rathor and he again asked for Rs 3 lakh.

Later the complainant found himself cheated and approached Cyber ​​PS Dwarka. 

The details of the CDR and alleged mobile numbers were obtained during the investigation.

All mobile numbers were found to be switched off.

After technical investigation, raids were conducted in Ramgarh area of ​​Alwar, Rajasthan and the accused was apprehended.

The accused was identified as 20-year-old Mustaqeem.

The accused disclosed that he is part of a gang of online frauds, and also revealed that he had taken 13 SIM cards from one accused Sahun for fraudulently for Rs 2600.
