Delhi Police has arrested former Madhya Pradesh SP MLA.

New Delhi/Bhopal:

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Monday arrested former Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Kishore Samarit from Bhopal for threatening to blow up Parliament.

Officials in the national capital gave this information.

He said Samrite had allegedly sent a packet with a threatening letter to the authorities on Saturday.

Officials said the former MLA threatened to blow up Parliament on September 30 if their demands were not met.

Bhopal Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) Sachin Atulkar said that Delhi Police arrested Samrite from Bhopal.

Delhi Police has informed the Madhya Pradesh Police that they have taken the former MLA on 'transit remand' after arresting him and producing him in court. Samrite was arrested from his house on Kolar Road in Bhopal, police said.
