The website of the publication "Babruisk Kurier" has stopped opening, the "Babruisk Online" portal reports.

On September 16, the editor-in-chief of "Babrui Kurier"

was arrested for 15 days, the article of the Administrative Court is unknown.

Until 2008, the site of "Babruyski Kurieru" was an electronic version of the newspaper of the same name, then it became a city information portal.

In 2006-2009, the newspaper itself was deprived of the opportunity to be sold through the state distribution system, and in 2010 it ceased to exist.

At the beginning of September of this year, access to the website of the "Vecherni Babruysk" newspaper was blocked, but the publication continues to be published in printed form.

Now 30 media representatives are behind bars in Belarus.
