Yuriy Kovalchuk, the closest ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has developed a plan to remove the Russian leader from power.

Russian political scientist and publicist Andriy Piontkovskyi told about this on the air of the FREEDOM project on the TSN YouTube channel.

According to him, Kovalchuk's initiative cannot be called an "overthrow" — "it is rather even an outstretched helping hand to Putin."

Piontkovsky explained in detail who Yuriy Kovalchuk is:

"This is the closest person to Putin, the only person who addresses Putin as "you". The only person who Putin looks at rather from the bottom up. He is the main ideologist of that ultra-fascist ideology of the Russian world, the victory in the war against the West as revenge for the defeat of the Soviet Union in the Third World - the Cold War. The ideologue of the destruction of the Ukrainian state".

As the political scientist noted, Kovalchuk "raised Putin in ultra-fascist views", as he is the ideologue of the "mobilization group", which has been operating within the administration of the President of the Russian Federation for the past 10 years.

"But Kovalchuk is a very intelligent person, he is not from the St. Petersburg court, like Putin. He was quite successful in the Soviet Union, a doctor of physical sciences. Then he got into business and became a multibillionaire. He is the main manager of Putin's entire financial empire... This person is surrounded by Putin is the only one who has balls," the expert explained.

According to Piontkovsky, Kovalchuk "understood that the war was lost, it was necessary to solve a very important task for the corporation - how to keep power and huge property in the country that lost the war."

"Sources I trust say that he began to talk with notables in Putin's circle and with Putin himself about a "soft option". Putin declares himself ill and "temporarily" transfers his powers to a collective body - the Security Council. This "temporary" pom "It's a shock, and a collective body is a smart idea, because none of them, in particular Kovalchuk, wants to take sole responsibility for the capitulation, which Moscow will have to sign in one form or another," he said.

The political scientist added that Putin's soft removal from the Kremlin solves two tasks:

"It seems to them that they are increasing their field of maneuver in foreign policy. They can hope for milder and less shameful conditions for ending the war. In any case, it will be capitulation. And secondly, they are solving an important domestic political task. When the country is defeated, someone has to be blamed. Putin will be blamed."

We will remind, earlier the director of the Institute of Strategic Studies and Security Pavlo Lysyansky said that the entourage of Russian President Vladimir Putin is starting to "rock the boat" in order to force him to choose a successor and resign.

In turn, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Volodymyr Ogryzko, predicted that Putin's entourage would soon begin to negotiate with the West about capitulation behind his back.
