We will continue to support Ukraine as long as it is needed.

Polish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborski said this in his statement to APA.

He reminded that Ukraine is a neighbor of Poland: "At the same time, we understand very well that Ukraine is fighting not only for its freedom, but also for the freedom of our region.

Both the Ukrainian military and Ukrainian civilians show how committed and loyal they are to European values, they demonstrate their commitment to freedom, independence, and democracy.

Our support to Ukraine will continue."

The ambassador pointed out that Poland has provided military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 2 billion euros so far: "We also continue humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

This applies both to the population inside Ukraine and to Ukrainians in Poland.

So far, about 3 billion euros worth of humanitarian aid has been provided.

Our support will continue because this is not just a war against Ukraine, it is also against us.

We will not allow Ukraine to fail."

The diplomat also commented on the restrictions on tourist visas imposed by Poland and the Baltic countries on Russian citizens.

Although the diplomat expressed the hope that this decision will change at some point, he stressed that there is no potential to remove this step in the current situation.
