In Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a case of grandson killing his grandfather for not being given money for drugs has come to light.

In the Nakud police station area of ​​Saharanpur district, a grandson allegedly strangled his own grandfather to death with a rope for not paying money for drugs.

A police officer gave this information on Monday.

Police have arrested the accused.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Suraj Rai said that the body of 70-year-old farmer Piruva was found in his house on Monday morning in village Sadhauli under Nakud police station area of ​​the district.

Rai told that Paras, another grandson of the deceased, gave a complaint in the police station that his cousin Sonu is addicted to drugs and often used to ask for money from grandfather for drugs, but grandfather did not give money for it.

According to Tahrir, on Sunday night too, Sonu asked his grandfather for money for drugs, then there was an altercation between the two.

At that time the people of the neighborhood came there and pacified the matter.

But on Monday morning, Sonu allegedly killed Dada by strangulating him with a rope and fled.

He said that the police have registered a case on the basis of Tahrir and sent the dead body for post-mortem.

Rai told that the police have arrested the accused Sonu from near the bus stand.
